It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leah R. Hostetler of Watsontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Leah may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Leah touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mose Blyer and Merian Blyer (Yoder); her husband Joseph Y. Hostetler; and her son Rudy H. Hostetler. She is survived by: her children, Eli Hostetler of East Palestine, OH, Hosea Hostetler of Darlington, PA and Ada Hostetler of St. Ignatus, MT. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Brooks Funeral Home and Cremation Service (207 Broadway St, Turbotville, PA 17772). Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
