She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hiner and Patricia Hiner (Savering); and her brother Joseph Hiner. She is survived by: her husband Paul Garbacz; her daughters, Tammy Yonkin of South Williamsport, Angie Reichard of Jersey Shore and Nicole Hogan (Stephen) of Winfield; her grandchildren, Cody (Julie), Vanessa Yonkin, Collin Reichard, Isaac and Liam Reeder; and her siblings, Alan Hiner of Johnstown, Christine Hiner of Turbotville and Jean Hiner of Alexandria, VA..

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shaw Funeral Home, Inc. (400 N Front St, Milton, PA 17847). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (109 Broadway St, Milton, PA 17847).
