Howard Yoder Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Howard Yoder Jr. in Richmond, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 5, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Howard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Howard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lera Marshall and Howard Yoder; and his wife Nancy Sechler Yoder. He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Yoder Snead (Warren) and Snead, Jr. of Richmond, VA; his grandchildren, Warren L. Snead, III (Leah Paulson) of Wallingford, PA and Catherine Elizabeth Snead of Nashville, TN; and his sister Mary Anne Yoder Wertman of York. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
The military honors was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Watsontown Cemetery.
