With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harry Mathias Sr. of Watsontown, Pennsylvania, born in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 15, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin R. Mathias and Margaret Mathias (Prowant); and his brother Dale. He is survived by: his wife Helen (Balliet); his children, Harry Jr. (Bridget), Holly Pennington (Mitch) of West Tisbury, MA and Heath (Peggy); his grandchildren, Bethany, Mattie, Ellie, Jackson, Nathaniel, Garrett, Paige, Kate and Molly; and his siblings, Charles, Gloria Biichle and Maxine Roup.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Harry and his life-long support for the local community, the family formed the 501 (C) 3 Harry C. Mathias, Sr. Charitable Foundation. This foundation will serve charitable causes in the Warrior Run Area.
