He was predeceased by: his stepson Kenneth Williams; and his siblings, Raymond Snyder Jr. and Jean Snyder. He is survived by: his wife Gladys E. Brouse; his children, Adam H. Snyder (Tori) of Washington State and April L. Snyder of Minnesota; his stepchildren, Edward Williams, Linda K. Clevenger of Maryland, Ginny Williams, Eva Clark of Maryland and Hermi Kramm; his grandsons, Emmitt Snyder and Chase McDonald; and his brothers, Carl Snyder of Milton and Edwin Snyder of Watsontown. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren.
