He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Shoemaker and Irene Shoemaker (Pick); and his siblings, Jean Springman, Lois Catherman, Ruth Metzger, Thomas, Roland and Marvin Shoemaker.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth M. Glidewell; his children, Karen A. Schatz of Columbia, PA and Eugene R. Shoemaker (Brenda) of Williamsport; and his sisters, Dorothy McNett of Montoursville, Doris Gifford of Milton and Charlotte Williams of Mercer.
