He was predeceased by: his parents, David Edinger and Emma Edinger (Smith); his wife Catherine F. Williams; his brother Paul Edinger; his granddaughter Karen Hoffman; and his siblings, Howard, Norman, Ralph, David, Ruth Danowsky and Naomi McClure.
He is survived by: his children, Myron C. Edinger (Jean) of Mazeppa, Nelson R. Edinger (Sharon) of Mifflinburg and Carolyn White of Mifflinburg; and his grandchildren, Christine Reber III (Bill), Phillip Edinger (Shakira), Debbie White, Rodney Edinger, Nancy Zechman (Brooks), Elaine Edye (Bobby) and Gena Anspach (Timothy). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
