She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene L. Lindsey and Della Z. Lindsey (Elliott); her son-in-law Dale Newton; and her siblings, Frances A. Dunn, Helen D. Merrill, Edwin V. and Glenn W. Lindsey.
She is survived by: her husband Alvin L. Horton; her daughters, Betty L. Connelly (Alan) of Schenectady, NY, Mary J. Bierly (Joel) of Watsontown and Carol S. Newton of New Columbia; her grandchildren, Ben Newton (Heather), Julie Nejman (Brian), Charles A. Connelly (Alysa), Jolene and Joel Bierly, Jr. (Ashley); and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Lindsey of Media, Doris Lindsey of Towanda and Cathy Horton of Athens.
