With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dale Shaffer of Watsontown, Pennsylvania, born in Laporte, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 30, 2020 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dale Shaffer to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard E. Shaffer and Myrtle Hess; his wife Joanne Rettew; his son David E. Shaffer, Sr.; and his stepdaughter Sandy Nugent.

He is survived by: his children, Dale E. Shaffer (Linda) of Elimsport, Carol Bobkoski of Muncy and Crystal Mastrangelo of Montgomery; and his siblings, David and Betty. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
