He was predeceased by: his parents, Lin Hartman and Mary Hartman (Allshouse); his wife Betty Hartman (Elder); his siblings, Forrest Hartman, Dale Hartman, Ruth Sherman and Helen Jakopac; and his daughter-in-law Tara Hartman.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven Hartman (Rosemary) of Union City, PA, Brian Hartman (Darlene) of Burlington, NC and Tim Hartman of Erie, PA; his siblings, Paul Hartman, Gwen Walker and Leora Brumfield; and his grandchildren, Isaac, Mandy, Justin, Daniel, Danielle and Samantha. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
