He was predeceased by: his father Dennis Peter Komorek; his grandparents, Joseph, Lillian Spusta, Peter and Laura Komorek; his uncle William Loesch (Ruth); and his aunt Evelyn Schneidmiller (Robert).
He is survived by: his mother Georgia Ann Spusta Komorek; his father-in-law Charles Tekotte; his wife Shannon Komorek; his stepchildren, Mackenzie and Amaya Welsh; his siblings, Julie Komorek (Brian Larson), Craig Komorek and David Komorek (Dashenka); his nieces, Kacey, Ava and Annika Komorek; his nephew Blake Larson; and his uncles, David Spusta (Barb) and James Biebel (Nancy).
