She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Preteroti and Mildred Preteroti (Sopp); and her brother Peter Preteroti. She is survived by: her husband Steve Shingledecker of Waterford; her children, Rodney Hammond of Erie and Sara Beach (William) of Millcreek; her stepchildren, Eric and Erin; and her sister Cynthia Derencin (Stanley) of Hoover, Alabama.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
