He is survived by: his parents, Charles Knapp and Constance Billmeyer Knapp; his wife Lorraine Riegel Knapp; his children, Jen Russell (Adam) and Ira "Steven" Wintersteen; and his sister Kara Aurand (Steve) of Washingtonville, PA.. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
