He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacey E. Bowling and Monna Johnston Bowling. He is survived by: his wife Dora Mae Straight; his daughters, Frances Elaine Olshock of Washington and Joan Emmett (Dan) of Washington; his grandchildren, Matthew Neelen, Ryan Emmett, Katheryn Elaine Cox (Rob) and Valerie Joan Emmett; his great grandchildren, Zoe, Teague, Coen Neelen, Molly and Charlotte Cox; his sisters, Frieda Michael, Alma Craig, Eva Furgason and Elaine Constable; his grandson Andrew Emmett; and his son-in-law John T. Olshock. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all services are private.
