He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Hunter and Anna Mary Miller Hunter; and his brother William George Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Karen Lou Hunter of Washington, PA; his children, Edward Eric Hunter (Lynn Terrell Hunter) of Centreville, VA and Stacey Mechele Willis (Ronald Eugene Willis) of Augusta, GA; his grandchildren, Brendan Olin Nicholas Willis, Zachary Connor Willis, Katherine Elizabeth Hunter and John Edward Hunter; his cousins, Tom Miller (Linda), Dod Miller (Eileen) and Carol Anne Bentrem (Bob); his sister-in-law Janet Hunter; and his nieces, Katrina and Kimberly Hunter of Arlington, VA..
