She was predeceased by: her parents, David Acklin and Margaret Acklin; and her husband Robert H. Tichnel. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Tichnel of Washington, Susan McDaniel (Craig) of Washington, David Tichnel (Tiffeny) of Washington and Candy Merashoff (Mark) of Washington; her grandchildren, Laurann Tichnel, Andrea Toland (Darren), Elizabeth Meerdo (Robert), Justin McDaniel (Brianne), Sara Staab (Nick), Abagail Tichnel and Jordan Merashoff (Breanna); her great grandchildren, Harper Toland, Brooke McDaniel, Owen Meerdo, Adam Staab and Jade McDaniel; her sister Betty; her sister-in-law Dolly Acklin of Florida; and her brother Clarence Acklin.
