He was predeceased by: his parents, Carter Woods and Mildred Woods; and his siblings, Shelley Woods Armstrong and Larry Hinkle Woods. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Wayne Woods Jr. (Anna) of Canonsburg Pa and Carter Woods of Georgia; his grandchildren, Liliana Woods, Anthony Brown and Avin Swindle; his sister Carol Jean Lockett (Herbert); his sister-in-law Rose Woods; his cousin Frank Simmons of Washington, DC; and his nephews, Jamal Brown, Larry Woods Jr. and Jaiden Lockett.
In lieu of flowers, at the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul A.M.E. Church.
