She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ellis and Carrie Johnson Ellis; and her husband Melvin David Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Johnson of Washington, David Johnson of Washington, Terry Johnson (Amy) of Washington, Melvin Johnson (Brenda) of Washington, Shawn Johnson (Pam Hasson) of Washington and Mark Johnson (Shanika) of Washington; and her siblings, Edgar Ellis of Washington, George Ellis (Lisa) of Michigan, Frances Gardner of Washington and Lillian Miller of Washington. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
