He was predeceased by: his parents, Russel Barger and Rhoda Heeter Barger; his wife Doris Montgomery Barger; and his son Russell H. Barger, Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Frank Barger (Sally) of West Freedom and Betty Barger Terwint; his children, Debra Barger, Valjean Schooley, Shari Bennetti, Stephen Barger, Tanya Pinto and Selena Stevens; his stepchildren, Cindy Williams and Tim Cook; his grandchildren, Nolan, Aaron, Rachel, Christopher, Daniel, Chelsey, Ashley and Heather; his nephew Terry; and also, Roxanne Hall, Pam, Rhonda and Kathy. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Due to the Coronavirus conditions in existence at present, the family of "Russ" Barger will host a Celebration of Life at a later date, hopefully, this summer 2020.
