He was predeceased by: his parents, George Petrilla and Catherine Petrilla (Byers); his son Donald J. Petrilla; and his siblings, Dan, Charles, John, George, Ralph Petrilla, Margaret F. Riffer, Sophia Buchinsky, Anna Mae Foy, Kate Kazor and Alice McCauley.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Kareen Petrilla (Clark); his sons, Michael Petrilla (Tricia) of Allegheny Township and Bob Petrilla (Shelly) of Washington Township; his grandchildren, Kira, Michael Petrilla, Jr., Gino, Calli and Carolyn Petrilla; his stepgrandchildren, Corbin, Ashley and Nathan Palmer; his great grandchildren, Kaleb, Cody, Harlee, Chase and Giovanni; and his siblings, Frank Petrilla (Peggy), Sara Jane McDonald, Fay Klingensmith and Donna Stone. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
