It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Allan Montgomery of Washington, Pennsylvania, born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Earl Montgomery and Elizabeth Ernest Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Rennie" W. Frederick; his sons, Douglas S. Montgomery (Lisa Phelps) of New Hampshire, Gregory S. (Lori Butler) of Washington, Randy Williams Jr. of Washington, Russell W. Palm of Washington and Christopher T. Palm of Washington; his grandchildren, Ashley M. Palm of Aurora and Brittany M. Palm of Washington; and his brother Gerald E. Montgomery (late Carol). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the William G. Neal Funeral Homes (925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA 15301). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to National Pike Steam Gas and Horse Association, 222 Spring Road, Brownsville, PA 15417, North Ten Mile Baptist Church, 322 Ridge Church Road, Amity, PA 15311, and/or a charity of one's choice.
