He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer W. Bowman-Brewer and L. Marie Bowman-Brewer (Weister); his stepfather Edgar L. Brewer; his former wife Dolores J. "Dee" Bowman (Menk); and his siblings, Karen L. Lightner and Lee M. Bowman (Marian).
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia E. Shields Bowman (Brick); his brothers, L. Keith Bowman (Carol) of Greensburg and Ronald W. Bowman (Carole) of Mamont; and his brother-in-law Clifford L. Lightner of Greensburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
