He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Pirih and Eva Matyuf Pirih; his wife Mary R. Szczerba; his children, Marisa Carter (Jeff Carter) of River Ridge, LA and Michael E. Pirih (Amber) of Hickory; his grandchildren, Whitney Pirih, Bodhi, Magnolia and River Carter; his sister Marian Pirih of The Villages, FL; his brothers-in-law, Edward Taber (Eileen) of Sun City, CA, Robert Szczerba of Burgettstown and David Szczerba of Napa, CA; his parents-in-law, Edward and Mary Szczerba; and his brother-in-law John (Theresa Sczruba). He was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
