He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richard Strope and Flossie Frances Waychoff Strope; and his wife Opal Marie Stewart. He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Lee Strope of Washington, Robert Eugene Strope of Washington, Patsy Strope Holliday of Sewickley, Nancy Strope Wright and Charles Strope; and his nephews, Brian Strope and Richard "Ricky" Strope. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
