In the sacred silence of farewell, Mary is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mary's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emile Kler and Alice Hixenbaugh Kler; her husband James S. Kita; and her son Frank J. Kita. She is survived by: her children, Peggy A. Bell (Tony) of Washington, Garry C. Kita (Cathy) of Washington, Larry P. Kita of Meadowlands and James S. Kita, Jr. (Susan) of Washington. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hummell & Jones Funeral Home (420 Locust Ave, Washington, PA 15301). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
