She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Dewey Jones and Delphia Mahan Jones; and her spouse Thomas Morgan Carter Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Morgan Carter Jr. (Glenna), Scott William Carter (Melissa), Diane Winkelman (Gregory) and Julie Marie Christensen (Bernard); her siblings, Dewey Jones (Nadine), Bennie Jones (Kim), Edna Fuson, Critty Hall (Elmer), Bernette Brock (Terry) and Bessie Jones (Sharon Brinson); her grandchildren, Joshua, Christopher, Erin, Hannah, Madison, Savannah, Emily, Amy, Danielle, Keith, Eric, Matthew and Lauren; and her great grandchildren, Bryson, Blaze, Brayden, Declan, Mila and Oliver.
A funeral service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the William G. Neal Funeral Homes (925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA 15301).
