She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Haupt and Caspar Wistar Haupt; her husband Harold Vaughn Carter; and her brothers, Caspar and Edward.
She is survived by: her sons, Randall (Patricia), Donald (Susan) and Karl; her grandchildren, Robert (Chiara), Teresa Caputo (James), David (Kristen), Andrew (Samantha), Jeffrey and Stephanie; and her great grandchildren, Timmy, Wes, Jack, Molly, Max and Alan.
