We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2020, at the age of 80, Lester A Simms of Washington, Pennsylvania, born in West Alexander, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas W. Simms and Erma Mae Glover Simms; and his former wife Della Mae Senski Simms. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Pyles; his children, Theresa Finney (Bo) of Prosperity, David Simms (Vickie) of Taylorstown, Raymond Simms (Alice) of West Alexander and Kevin Simms-Smail (Ken) of Lower Burrell; his sister Marlene Marshall of Washington; his pet Tobey; his son Pee-Wee Simms; his siblings, Billy, Clinton, Jerry Simms, Hazel Chapman, Ramona Thomas, Clara Staley and Annie Sheppard; and his grandchildren, Tara and Jason Simms. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
