He was predeceased by: his parents, Carter Woods and Mildred Woods; and his sister Shelley Woods Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Rose Poindexter Woods; his son Larry Hinkle Woods II; his siblings, Thomas Woods and Carol Jean Lockett (Herbert); and his cousin Frank Simmons. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and several friends.
In lieu of flowers, at the request of the family memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or to the St. Paul A.M.E. Church.
