He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Smith and Theresa Karnbauer Smith. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Smith (Donna Lee) of Washington and Kristine Marie Epright (Gary) of Vermont; his close friend Leon; and his brother Kevin Joseph Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
