With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathryn Podany of Washington, Pennsylvania, born in Monessen, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2024 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aftanas Senich and Anna Sikula Senich; her husband Harry S. Podany; her grandson Mark McCormick; and her siblings, John Senich, Mary Dankanich, Andrew Senich, Michael Senich, Nicholas Senich, Paul Senich and Anna Kozma.
She is survived by: her children, Cathie A. McCormick (Mike) of McMurray, Gregory Podany of Chicago, IL, Douglas Podany (Mary Celine) of Canonsburg and Harry S. Podany of Hawaii; and her grandchildren, Michael J. McCormick (Kristina), Allison Quick (Adam), Christina Podany, Marissa Podany (John Rice), Christopher Podany and Ciro Podany. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
