She was predeceased by: her parents, William Minton and Alice Wolfe Minton. She is survived by: her husband Steven D. Johnson; her son Christopher T. Johnson (Mahtob) of Chesapeake, VA; her sister Marty Dye of Waynesville, NC; and her grandchildren, Kylie and Kaleb. She is also survived by three nieces and two nephews.
