He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles D. Zollars and Nellie Bobik Zollars. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy E. Umshares; his children, Michel Benner (Brad) of Washington, Valerie Grabowski (Steve) of Washington and Michael A. Zollars of Washington; his siblings, Robert Zollars (Lois), Billie Robinson (Lee), Geraldine Ekert (late Chuck), Virginia Krenzelak and Elizabeth Dimmick (Michael); his grandchildren, Kristen Crawford (Gabriel), Shane Gallagher (Halie), Deanna Wehman (Patrick), Derek Gallagher, Brandon Benner, Tabitha Zollars (Taylor) and Steven Grabowski; and his brother-in-law Alex Umshares (late Shirley). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
