He was predeceased by: his parents, Husana Elias and George Unice Jr.; and his siblings, Simon and Helen Durka. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his brothers, Michael Unice (late Barb), George Unice (Lana), Larry Unice (Judy), Ken Unice (late Holly), Vince Unice (Elizabeth) and Ronald Unice (Mandy); his brother-in-law Thad Durka; his children, Stephanie Scruppi (Tony), Lynne Yater (Paul) and John Unice (Michele); and his grandchildren, Peyton, David, Joseph, Logan, Lainey, Caroline, Preston, Johnny, Ella, Elias and Maren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd. (925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA 15301). A Mass was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church - St. James (119 W Chestnut St, Washington, PA 15301).
