With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Kurucz Jr. of Washington, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 20, 2025 at the age of 81. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John J. Sr. Kurucz and Josephine Bova Kurucz; his wife Carolyn Piatt Kurucz; his brother Lawrence Kurucz (Linda); his niece Katy Hryniewich (Brian); his great-niece Alison Hryniewich; his great-nephew Tyler Hryniewich; and his nephew Kevin Kurucz.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nichol Funeral Home (1873 E Maiden St, Washington, PA 15301). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
