Jean left this world on January 10, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Miklic and Lena Miklic (Buchanan). She is survived by: her husband Paul D. Scott (Paul); her daughters, Diane Hyser (Howard) of Whitsett, NC and Judy Panzo (Mark) of Washington; her brother Henry Miklic (Fern) of Washington; her granddaughters, Courtney Vitale (Chris) and Lindsey Briggs (Jade); her stepgranddaughter Elizabeth Toth (Josh); her great grandchildren, Jack, Gavin, Landon Vitale, Blake and Cooper Briggs; and her siblings, Helen Heitzer, Ruth Whitener, Betty Dummer and Ralph Miklic. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Piatt-Barnhill Funeral Home (420 Locust Ave, Washington, PA 15301). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
