He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hancher and Wilma Hancher; his wife Marlene Ferralli Hancher; and his sister Shirley Barber. He is survived by: his children, Mark Hancher (Rhonda) of Washington, Marla Nicolella (Joe) of Lancaster and Matt Hancher (Lisa); his grandchildren, Mitch Hancher (Erin) of Washington, Katie Garner (Michael), Jamie Leichty (Jordan), Jake Nicolella (Emily), Paige Hancher, Matt Hancher (Laura) and Nick Hancher (Becca); his great grandchildren, Matthew, James Hancher, Farryn, Lenna Garner, Asher, Judah, Selah Leichty, Giaco Nicolella and Indigo Hancher; and his brother Harry Hancher (Helen) of Jacksonville, Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the ARC of Washington.
