He was predeceased by: his parents, John Durila and Rebecca Dinch Durila; and his siblings, John, Paul, Robert, Dave, Jeffrey and Helen.

He is survived by: his children, James Jr. (Denice), Lisa (Bob), Tina, Chad, Dustin (Mariah) and Ashley (Michael); and his siblings, Nancy, Mary, Mike, Becky, Kenny, Lorna and Kelly. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
