He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy A. Speck and Eleanor L. Lang Speck; and his wife Betty J. of Maine. He is survived by: his son Ryan J. Speck (Trudy) of Monessen; and his siblings, Marlene R. Estep (Jerry) of Florida, Roy A. Speck, Dorothy McKissick and Evelyn Spence.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the veteran's charity of one's choice.
