With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Irene M. Rute of Washington, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles F. O. and Jennie E. Bittner (Rodgers); and her siblings, Mazie Dieter, Betty Worman, Raymond, Paul, Elwood, Harold, Edward and Clarence.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Rute; her children, Bonnie (Jeffrey Fink) of Whitehall, Peggy Geiger of Northampton and Warren (Linda) of Bethlehem; and her grandchildren, Jennie, Lauren and Alexis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schisler Funeral Home (2119 Washington Ave, Northampton, PA 18067). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
