He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Thomas and Anna Swihart Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Lauretta Arent Thomas; and his children, Wilma Christine Quan, Homer Howard Thomas Jr., Mandy Lynn Thomas, Margaret Rossell and James Thomas. He is also survived by three sisters.
