He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth E. Standiford Thompson. He is survived by: his son Floyd C. Thompson Jr (Kristi); his father Vaughn U.; his siblings, Brenda McVay (Kenneth) and Chad Thompson (Rebecca); and also Annette Matusky. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
