She was predeceased by: her parents, Ursula Hootman and Frank Hunt; her spouse Thomas Ellis; and her siblings, Helen Hunt, Margire McCullough, Bob Hunt and Charles Hunt.

She is survived by: her children, Charles Ellis (Sally) of Fresno, Becky Knoneberg (Karl) of Washington, Ronald Ellis of Augusta and Jennifer Janovich (Michael) of Claysville; her stepson Chad Newman (Jackie) of Washington; and her grandchildren, Jared Ankrom (Rayna), Justin Ankrom (Sarah), Jonas Ankrom (Tiffany), Kurt Ellis (Danielle), Laura Hartle (Andrew), Thomas Ellis (Andi), Austin Ellis, Emily Fraley (Noah), JT Ellis (Shannon), Madison Janovich, Logan Janovich, Ayden Janovich, Hannah Newman and Ethan Newman. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the William G. Neal Funeral Homes (925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA 15301). A reception was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
