He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hatfield, Sr. and Dorothy Berg Hatfield-Arbuckle; his parents-in-law, James and Pearl Belcastro Amos; and his brother-in-law Lawrence Cox.
He is survived by: his spouse Jamie Lynn Amos; his children, Christopher Lee Hatfield (Mary Jo) of Washington, Heather Lynn Hatfield of Washington and Joshua James Hatfield of Washington; his grandson Phillip Nicholas Hatfield of Washington; his siblings, Catherine Cox of Washington, Judy Otrosina (William) of Watkinsville, Joyce Hatfield-Wise (Donald) of Washington, Melvin Hatfield of Washington, Jerry Hatfield (Mary Ann) of Cecil, Gary Hatfield (Sherry) of Washington and James Hatfield of Washington; and his sisters-in-law, Sandra Vanatta (John) of Washington and Debra Dotson (Craig) of Washington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
