He was predeceased by: his parents, Josiah Winters and Dorothy James Winters. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peg" Brennan; his sons, Edward Winters (Pam), Douglas Winters (Rhonda), David Winters of Washington, Robert Winters (Shirley) of Carmichaels and Daniel Winters (Irene) of Washington; his brother Richard Winters (Shannon) of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Jamie, Shannon, Isabella, Michelle, Jake and Justin; his great grandchildren, Madeline and Winnie; his cousin Bob Smith; and his brothers, James and Charles Winters.
