He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Hefferan; his children, Melissa Moga (Rob) of Bullard, Michael Hefferan of Washington Township and Michelle Johnson (Scott) of Lower Burrell; his grandchildren, Chloe, Trinity Moga, Elizabeth and Elijah Johnson; and his siblings, Sharon Kemrer and Gary Hefferan.
