He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Owen Cottrill and Jean Lipscomb. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Tim Cottrill of Crawfordsville, IN, Daniel E. Cottrill, Jr. (Jamie) of Dallas, GA, Heidi Jenkins (Bobby) of Lost Creek, WV, Matthew Cheek (Bobbie) of Beckley, WV and Mary Cheek (Alicia) of Washington; his sister Patty Wilson (Kendall) of Thompson, OH; and his close friends, Martha Seaman and Jack Jones. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
