She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Collis and Emma "Betty" Roux Collis. She is survived by: her husband Michael Flynn; her children, Michael R. Flynn III of San José and Erin Elizabeth Flynn of Washington; her grandsons, Michael Flynn IV, Anthony "Rocco" Flynn and Anthony M. Bruno; her niece Gina Collis; her nephews, Michael and Samuel Collis; her brother John "Skeeter" Collis; and her nephew John.

She went on to work for the State Department of Revenue in Pittsburgh, the Avis Arbor Women's Shelter, Career Links, and she retired from the Washington County Community Foundation.
