She was predeceased by: her parents, John S. McMullen and Ellen L. Young McMullen. She is survived by: her husband Franklin Chappel; her sons, Chris Chappel of Washington and Nathan Chappel of Washington; and her siblings, Sherry Mellars (Roger) of Peters Township, John E. McMullen and Lawrence "Butch" McMullen.
