It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty J Bird of Washington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 3, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty J Bird to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beauregard Pierson and Mary Toland Pierson; her husband Robert Sherman Bird; her sons, Denny and Tim Bird; and her siblings, Gardie, Fred, Clifford, James, Herman, Goldie, Birdie, Edith, Mary, Rose, Jean and Marguerite.
She is survived by: her children, Robert S. Bird Jr. (Tina) of Satsuma, FL, Larry Bird of Washington, Fred Bird (Donna) of Washington and Carolyn McCartney of Washington. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 1:00-3:00 p. m., followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p. m. at William G Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. Covid-19 precautions will apply.
